Instructions
- Preparing the Cookie Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the sugar cookie dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle or circle. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- Making the Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add vanilla extract and gradually mix in powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Spread evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
- Arranging the Fruit Design: Create the “flag” by arranging rows of sliced strawberries across the frosting to represent the red stripes. Leave spaces between rows for the white “stripes.” Place blueberries in the top left corner to mimic the stars section of the flag. Add optional kiwi slices for extra flair.
- Finishing Touches: Chill the fruit pizza in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
