Instructions
1. Preparing the Dough
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined and a soft dough forms.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
2. Shaping the Cookies
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
- Roll each ball generously in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
3. Baking the Cookies
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set, but the centers remain soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
4. Finishing Touches
- If desired, dust with additional cinnamon-sugar for extra flavor and an elegant touch.
