For the Sandwich:

- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyère recommended)
- 4 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Add-Ins:
- 4 slices of cooked bacon or ham
- ½ avocado, sliced
- ¼ cup sautéed spinach or mushrooms
Instructions
1. Preparing the Bread
- Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Place cheese slices on the unbuttered sides of two bread slices.
2. Cooking the Eggs
- Fry or scramble the eggs to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper, adding sautéed veggies or bacon if desired.
3. Assembling the Sandwich
- Place the cooked eggs on top of the cheese layer.
- Add optional ingredients like bacon or avocado.
- Close the sandwich with the remaining slices of bread (buttered side out).
4. Grilling the Sandwich
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Grill the sandwich until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
