Ingredients
- Pasta: Your choice of pasta (penne, rotini, or farfalle work well)
- Chicken: Boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
- Garlic: Fresh garlic, minced
- Parmesan Cheese: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive Oil: For sautéing
- Salt and Pepper: To taste
- Optional: Heavy cream or milk for extra creaminess
Instructions
- Prepare the pasta by cooking it according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until fully cooked and lightly browned. Add minced garlic during the last minute.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cooked chicken, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Add cooked vegetables like broccoli or spinach for added nutrients.
- For a spicier kick, include a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Consider using a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan for a cheesier bake.
- Incorporate cream cheese or ricotta for extra creaminess.
- Swap chicken for shrimp or Italian sausage for variety.
