- 4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, white, or Italian work great)
- 4 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 2 pre-cooked chicken patties
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- Optional: Grated parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, layer a slice of mozzarella cheese, the cooked chicken patty, marinara sauce, and another slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grill the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- Use softened butter for easy spreading.
- Donβt overcrowd the skillet; cook in batches if necessary.
- Medium heat is ideal for preventing burning.
- Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
