- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper (optional)
- 8 flour tortillas (taco size)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Your favorite toppings: salsa, sour cream, guacamole
Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables by dicing the onion and bell pepper.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef until browned, drain excess grease, and add taco seasoning.
- Assemble quesadillas by placing cheese, seasoned beef, and veggies on one half of each tortilla.
- Fold tortillas and cook in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Notes
- Use quality cheese that melts well.
- Cook quesadillas in batches to prevent overcrowding.
- For extra flavor, brush tortillas with melted butter or oil before cooking.
