Instructions

1. Prepare the Cupcake Batter:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract, cream soda, and butterscotch syrup.
  6. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until the batter is smooth.
  7. Divide batter evenly into 12 cupcake liners.

2. Bake the Cupcakes:

  1. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.

3. Make the Swirled Frosting:

  1. Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.
