For the Garlic Aioli Sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice

Toasting the Bread:
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat or set your oven broiler to high.
- Brush both sides of the hoagie rolls with melted butter.
- (Optional) Sprinkle with garlic powder or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
- Toast the bread for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

Preparing the Garlic Aioli:
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well and adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembling the Sandwiches:
- Lay the bottom half of each toasted roll on a cutting board.
- Layer with meat and cheese of choice.
- Add lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and pickles for crunch and flavor.
- Spread garlic aioli or your favorite sauce on the top half before closing the sandwich.
