For the Cookies:

Instructions
1. Preparing the Cookie Dough
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add lemon zest, lemon juice, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until incorporated.
2. Chilling the Dough
- Cover the dough and chill for at least 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
3. Baking the Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely before glazing.
4. Making the Lavender Glaze
- In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, ground lavender, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle over cooled cookies and let set for 15 minutes.
5. Decorating & Serving
- Garnish with edible silver dust or sprinkles for a Ravenclaw-inspired touch.
- Serve and enjoy with a cup of tea or Butterbeer!
Notes
- For a stronger lavender flavor, let the ground lavender steep in warm milk before mixing.
