Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 16 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 16 oz whipped topping (divided)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for strawberries)
Instructions
- Prepare the graham cracker crust by mixing crushed graham crackers with melted butter and sugar. Press firmly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Make the cheesecake filling by beating softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and half of the whipped topping. Blend until creamy and spread over the crust.
- Layer sliced strawberries evenly over the cheesecake filling. For extra flavor, toss strawberries with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping, spreading evenly or piping decoratively. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- For best results, chill the dessert for at least 4 hours to allow the layers to set.
- Customize with other fruits like blueberries or raspberries.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
- Garnish with mint leaves or extra strawberries for an elegant presentation.
