Instructions
1. Prepare the Steak:
- Season steak with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat until desired doneness.
- Let rest, then dice into small bite-sized pieces.
2. Make the Biscuit Dough:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour in milk and stir until just combined—do not overmix.
- Gently fold in shredded cheese and diced steak.
3. Create the Butter Bath:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pour melted butter into a 9×9-inch baking dish.
4. Assemble and Bake:
- Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough into the melted butter, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
5. Serve & Enjoy:
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
- Serve warm with garlic aioli, horseradish cream, or marinara sauce.
