- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1–2 tablespoons strawberry jam (for flavor and color)
- 24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
- Optional: Pink food coloring (for a vibrant strawberry hue)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt until just combined. Add vanilla extract and strawberry jam (and food coloring if desired).
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
- Immediately after baking, gently press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie. Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Use room-temperature butter for easier mixing.
- Don’t overbake—the cookies should be soft with slightly golden edges.
- For extra strawberry flavor, add a teaspoon of strawberry extract.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
